The NTHDA works with a number of organizations to support dental outreach programs that promote oral health awareness throughout the Hispanic community. Seasoned oral health professionals can become mentors to our student members, sharing knowledge and experiences through these dental outreach programs. We have selected various dental outreach programs that will allow our members to make a difference globally, nationally, and locally. You can learn more about each of these dental community service projects on this page and by visiting the corresponding websites.
HELPS International
HELPS is an organization that battles poverty in Latin America. Through medical care, instruction, and development of agriculture and economy, HELPS is improving lives and communities. NTHDA is proud to support their efforts as one of our dental community service projects.

Give Kids A Smile!
NTHDA will join forces with Give Kids a Smile, part of the Children's Dental Access Program and the primary event during National Children's Health Month. Give Kids a Smile, another dental community service opportunity, helps low-income children who do not normally have access to dental care receive much needed education and oral health services.
