NTHDA has partnered with SAID (Society American Indian Dentists) and NDA (National Dental Association) to work on a Minority Mentoring Program that will take place on Saturday Nov 21st. 2009 on a meet and greet session with the students. Minority Dental School enrollment has not increased in the past 6 yrs and that’s the reason we as an association will be participating in this program.

We are asking you for your participation and cooperation to be a mentor of one of these students to complete this program with success. As a mentor you will be expected to provide a minimum of 2 hours contact with your mentee each month (by phone, one to one, or how best works for you). You may also be asked to attend meetings and training sessions. This is a volunteer program. We appreciate your contribution to help shape future dental health professionals.
