Vice-President: Dr. Eduardo Tanur
Dr. Tanur was born and raised in Mexico City. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Science degree from the Universidad Tecnologica of Mexico, graduating in 1989. He completed his postgraduate training at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, being the first international student accepted in such program in which he received the certificate in periodontics as well as a Master of Science degree. He maintains his private practice limited to periodontics and implant dentistry in the city of Dallas and was a faculty member of the undergraduate and graduate periodontal program at Baylor College of Dentistry.
Dr. Tanur has given numerous didactic and clinical lectures in connection with teaching and as a national and international speaker. He continuously keeps himself with the latest techniques and procedures by taking hundreds of hours of continuing education courses every year. His publications and scientific research is linked to smoking and its relationship with periodontal disease.
Dr. Tanur resides in Plano, Texas, with his wife Monica and his three daughters, Michelle, Dania and Vanessa.
